The Floating Seahorse in Dubai is an iconic, one of a kind luxury lifestyle product which was officially unveiled at The Dubai International Boat Show at in March 2015.

The Floating Seahorse is a truly unique underwater product which is the first of its kind in the world. It is an exclusive marine style retreat (essentially a boat without propulsion) which has its own plot in the Arabian Gulf.

St Petersburg Island

One of the most luxurious destinations on the planet is about the get even more over-the-top extravagance with a new heart-shaped island. Man-made St Petersburg Island will be home to 90 floating villas known as seahorses and a 109-room hotel for holidaymakers. United Arab Emirates, and especially Dubai, produces grandiose projects known for their innovative approach and truly advanced concepts. This year, one of the most ambitious developing enterprises is going to be Floating Seahorse — luxury floating villas, partially hidden under water.

The Floating Seahorse villas are, technically, three-story luxury boats without propulsion

This fabulous apartment complex will consist of 90 boats/villas

Each villa offers spacious 1,700 sq ft of floor area and has three levels, with two levels being above the water.

The upper level will have a shower, semi-private kitchenette, and mini-bar along with a Jacuzzi with an ostentatious glass floor.

The central level will boast an expansive living space, surrounded by a fully equipped kitchen and dining area.

The master bedroom and the bathroom will be located in the depths of water, on the lower-most level below the sea.

All of the levels have floor to ceiling windows that offer breathtaking views of marine life. It’s your own private aquarium!

The seahorses will be connected to the island via floating jetties, and the first cluster will go on the market for more than $1 million each. The estimated completion date for The Floating Seahorse is the end of 2016.
