Cool Carpet From Old T-shirt

Make cool carpet, beautiful area rug with old T-shirts step by step DIY tutorial .
It is an easy to make carpet that not only adds a beauty to your home but is also an excellent reuse idea for your old tee shirts!

Materials required:

• Rope
• Old tee shirts
• Scissors
• Glue/ glue gun

Cut out the rope of desired length and complete wrapping the colorful tee shirt strip around it. Make such strips and keep them aside. STEP 3: Now coil the readily kept rope bit and stick the ends with glue. Similarly coil up all the bits. STEP 4: Now start sticking the coils together in a random beautiful way! STEP 5: Give a protective layering for your carpet and then it is ready for use!!! Don’t be afraid to try using different colors that match the color palette of your home 🙂

Procedure:

Step 1:

Choose a rope of desired thickness for your carpet. Select old tee shirts and cut out strips as shown.

Step 2:

Wrap the tees shirt strip around the rope in a random way and stick it firmly using a glue gun. Cut out the rope of desired length and complete wrapping the colorful tee shirt strip around it. Make such strips and keep them aside. Now coil the readily kept rope bit and stick the ends with glue. Similarly coil up all the bits.

Step 3:

Now start sticking the coils together in a random beautiful way!

Step 4:

Give a protective layering for your carpet and then it is ready for use!!!
