Rescuing Homeless Pit Bull
Some dogs are timid and afraid when Hope for Paws, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit animal rescue organization, comes to rescue them. But not Brutus.
The friendly brown and white homeless Pit Bull had been living on the city streets, while kind mechanics were providing him with food. They knew he needed shelter, though, so they called the rescue group for help.
Experienced rescuers Eldad Hagar and Lisa Arturo arrived with treats to win him over — but it didn’t take much. The video of the rescue, below, shows how the sweet dog quickly accepted their food, and then their love.
They named the gentle giant Brutus, and he didn’t hesitate to hop into the car on Arturo’s lap when he was invited. Then, he proceeded to smother both of his saviors with thankful kisses. In the video, Hope for Paws says this was their easiest rescue mission ever.
The delighted dog has now been cleaned up and is ready to find a forever home.
