Indeed, gravel can look really good as a path and/or driveway. And, it’s fun to get some decorative siding to hold the gravel in. You can’t not have the siding, cars would push it all down and out, so you may as well make it pretty.

I love the way some of these picture incorporate different materials. I really like the easy to work with nature of concrete, but the way that it’s highlighted here with different patterns of pavers is pretty awesome. I’ve been thinking about different ways to do a driveway and these really just gave me a ton of ideas on how to approach my plans. Thanks for sharing.

We have been trying to figure out a design for our new driveway. Your tip about the four main considerations when determining the placement of your driveway was very helpful. Safety, access, drainage, and aesthetics are all very important aspects. I wonder if the local contractors have some different options available that include those things.

Wow! Those driveways really do compliment their counter part homes in all of these examples. I really do love to see a great looking driveway that leads to the comfort of someones home. We usually don’t pay all that much attention to our driveway when we drive up to it after work or a long drive. But pulling up to your home and having that awesome looking driveway greet you when you get home gives you a feeling that you can’t describe.

I really like the look of some of these driveways, the pavers in particular. I think this could be a great option for somebody who wants a good looking driveway. My house is rather far from the street so I think that an asphalt one would be better due to its ease of installation. Thanks for the post!

I like how these pictures have different materials that all blend well into the exterior. I’m a decorative concrete contractor in St. Louis, and sometimes it can be too taxing to think of different designs that we can do for a client. Having found these set of images, my creativity is once again fueled! I’m saving this to my idea catalog and hope to apply it soon with my clients.
